day 21

WOW!!

It's hard to believe that I have completed over 20 days on Body For Life. Even if I don't see any more progress I'm so thankful for the changes I have already noticed. I have more energy, I get up easier in the morning, I'm sleeping better, my body just FEELS better. However, I have every intention to see plenty more progress though.

Now then, something I've thought all weekend is the BOF motto..."It's about progress, not perfection."

It's a good thing it's not about perfection because Josh and I have had more of cheat weekend than a cheat day!! Hey, it's hard for even ME to be perfect all the time. (I know some of you will find that statement hard to believe. Should I pause a minute so you can catch your breathe?) BUT, Josh and I have had the BEST weekend . We've stayed very busy since getting off work on Friday. We've had party, after party, after party. Friday I attended a friend's "Thirty One" party, (where there were snacks), then Saturday we played cards with some family, (where there snacks...and alcohol...lots and lots of alcohol), then Sunday we had my nieces birthday party, (where there were snacks AND cake), then of course the Superbowl (which I'm pretty sure was only created so that people could gather and eat snacks)

Josh and I also attended the National Ice Carvers Association Championships on Saturday. Yup, it's a real thing, look it up. It was held in Branson this year and it was also qualifying for the 2014 Winter Olympics. Yup, Ice Carving is an Olympic Sport. We had a blast and I was blown away by the talent there. These are serious artists.

I think this one was my favorite. It's a jockey riding some sort of seahorse thing.

I'm ready to get started with another week of Body For Life. Bring it on.

Until next time friends....
